re: Nick Adams Victim of Gay Discrimination ?
 Aug 3 2009, 09:49:47 AM
Nick Adams makes me puke in my own mouth. Harsh? Yes! Faking gay discrimination for cabaret publicity...a lot harsher. This guy needs to go be in a soap opera somewhere, somewhere he can be half-nude all the time and ham up all his performances. Disgusting

Candide and South Pacific. Hands down.

This Tyce guy is a joke. There was hardly anything original in that piece. That was a bad re-hashing of the Twyla choreography for the movie. Laughable.

Whole-heartedly agree with Ben Folds. "The Ascent of Stan" is possibly my favorite song ever written.

re: Hair cancelled Oct 11th?

I highly doubt Gavin will work that weekend. The other leads I can't say. It seems like a very large portion of the cast is really vested in this fight for Marriage Equality and the march on Washington is a pretty big deal.

It is cancelled because October 10th-11th is the marriage equality march on Washington. Most likely the cast will perform on the National Mall since the majority of the cast is involved with Broadway Impact.

Well this person has inherited money that could be put to use somewhere else. There is already a recording of this show. It seems a little indulgent to record an unnecessary new york cast however wonderful they are.

Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids. You don't need a CD buddy. Just save some people's lives.

These webisodes have completely lost their spark for me. The first season was refreshing, Jake's quirky journey to being cast in a show. However, now I feel like these episodes have no real drive. While the players are doing a great job and they are tremendously talented these episodes don't go anywhere. They are 13 minute monthly snippets of nothing leading to nothing leading to nothing. I think the show needs a new kick of creativity...something fresh if not they risk becoming a nuisance.

re: After She Wins the Tony, Ripley Should...
 Jun 1 2009, 05:38:09 AM
When she wins I want her to run onstage naked while talking to Emily Skinner on Facebook and singing Rainbow High at the same time...while a clip of Golden Girls plays on the monitor. Too much?
