re: See 13 for only $20

The "13" BO doesn't require a printout, as long as you're willing to actually pay for your ticket or want your kid's name inserted to the script for a small fee.

Why would anyone want to pay to sit through this?

But if masochism is your thing, there are $13 coupons going around, and TONS of comps.

"BC/EFA has been selling walk on roles in shows for YEARS. This is not new."

Yes, for charity. Not for profit..

"13" Producers can keep dreaming somebody is dumb enough to get 13 full-priced tickets to their show.

Not only do you have to buy 13 tickets to get these "offerings", but you have to pay an extra fee for each one of these. This is not free.

Tickets are not selling, and "13" now has a separate price list for the following:

*Have your child’s name mentioned in the show
*Have the cast sing “Happy Birthday” to your child at Curtain
*Have a walk-on appearance in the show!

All you have to do is call 1-877-SEE-13-TDY.
From their official website..

D2 is right. I joined at my local Staples a few months back. It's pretty "hush-hush" so ask the manager for the forms.

"when they realize people are actually willing to pay."

But... people are not willing to pay. 40% of the house actually paid last week.

Jake, they give free tickets in advance because the show is not selling. They can't take those comps away once someone decides he wants to buy a ticket.

Sorry, double post. :)

I agree, ray.
I mean, why open? Grosses are at 40%, Average ticket price stands at $45... and reviews won't help. Why lose any more money?

re: '13' RUSH

The show was "sold-out" because more than 80% of the house got free tickets. I won't be surprised if some were even paid to sit through this crapfest.

I feel embarresed for JRB every night this crap plays.

So wait, Xanadu is closing, Legally Blonde is closing,
Title of Show is closing...

And this piece of.. is still running?
And now they also cut the only bearable song in the show?
Laughable.

This is a new low for Broadway.

Last I heard, no "real" changes were made as of yet.
But again, the only solution to avoid further embarasment is to close this bomb.

Yeah, the Act I finale is dreadful, but again, the whole show is.
They're comping this show like CRAZY. Don't pay for your ticket! Believe me, even for the sake of seeing a Broadway bomb, it's not worth your $1.00

Cry Baby was a masterpiece compared to this.

A theater goer going into "13" may think that "101 Productions LTD" wanted to try to ride on HSM's success and get their share of the money. Well, the result is not awful, its disgusting. An amaturish evening that is both offensive to gays, jews, and the handicap, and just purley bad.

When Kendra tells Lucy she doesn't think new boyfriend Brett is that hot, she replies "Yeah well, even my priest thinks he's hot". And when 12-yeard-old cripple boy talks about how Kesandra, a
