Totally agree with you Kad.
I've seen Hairspray three times: twice with Bruce Vilance and Shannon Durig (sp?) and on December 13 with Harvey and Marissa. I really love this show.

We did the Hairspray lottery for the matinee on Saturday, December 13. There were about 35 people there. We had four names in, and three of our names were chosen. We only took five tickets since that's all we needed. We enjoyed seeing Harvey and Marissa.

We live in Pennsylvania - about 4 1/2 hours away from NYC. During 2008, we averaged a trip to the city about once a month. We have done day trips, and we have made trips where we have spent one night. Sometimes, we have gone specifically for a show, i.e., Mamma Mia! for our twenty-fifth wedding anniversary; my sons had tickets to the final performance of RENT. Other times, we have gone on a whim to TKTS booth and have seen a show. Or as we did last Saturday, we went to the lottery at Hairsp
