Well, I don't think Carmen Miranda is nearly loved in Brazil as Evita is in Argentina. Eva Perón is a real icon, and I remember that when the Evita movie was released there was such a huge protest that they had to interrupt the premiere and it was forbidden in thaters for a long time...
