Little Women to Aida in one move is too easy... one of my favorite performers! I'm not gonna give it away though since it was so obvi to me

Has anyone else seen Greg Jbara in the Olive Garden Commercial?? They show it on bravo a lot. Particularly during Top Chef. I love Greg Jbara!

I love AIDA just because of John Hickok. He stole that show for me! Overall, believe it or not, Tarzan was my favorite... I just found it so compelling AND visually stimulating... Unlike Beauty and the Beast or Lion king which were all visuals and no heart for me.

re: Looks like STORY OF MY LIFE will get a cast album after all... Mar 2

Thank God. I didnt get to see THE STORY OF MY LIFE but I love Malcolm Gets!!! I'm glad this piece will be immortalized via CD so that I can get to experience it, even though I didn't see it live. The cast album is such a great way to give long life to an otherwise temporary art form.

It may be a little weird... but whenever i need cheering up, I listen to Drood! I wish Rupert Holmes had written more scores... Also my friend has The Magic Show on vinyl and sometimes we put that on... which is pretty darn cool!

Or Maybe Coco could try his hand at John Treacy Egan's Role in Little Mermaid??

By that logic... Daphne Rubin-Vega should play Bobbi/Gabby

How about the role of Jimmy Powers? I know you mentioned Matt Cavenaugh earlier, and while i L.O.V.E. Matt, I don't think his voice suits this role as well. I would love to hear a voice like Michael Buble on You Gotta Look Out for Yourself... Maybe Christian Hoff actually could pull off Jimmy Powers... or Even Harry Connick, Jr. in an ideal world

I don't know... I'd love to see Barbour and Edelman duke it out for who's the better Rutledge... not that anyone can top Cullum...

re: What CELEBRITY should do a ONE-MAN SHOW? Mar 2
2009, 12:43:29 AM
I may have been a little hasty when I said BD Wong earlier. While I do have enormous respect for the man's talent in so many different vehicles, I don't know that he could captivate me for a full one man show. I'd say Mary Testa could do a hilarious one woman show... But if you want a celebrity, I would have to go with Idina.
