Which Broadway performers have you seen in Law & Order?

A particular performance that comes to my mind is that of Kerry O'Malley, who was absolutely stunning as a rape victim impregnated by her attacker on an episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
Also noteworthy is Cynthia Nixon, who won an Emmy last year for her work on SVU as a woman with multiple personalities involved in a child's disappearance.

Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.
Tony Kushner: You can sing it at my funeral.

I also don't watch it. That day I saw Cerveris' name, and decided to watch. Having been around for so long, the show has provided a lot of Broadway actors a nice opportunity to stay local, and still cross over to work in TV. Didn't Kristin Chenoweth also have a part once?

Bernadette Peters was a lawyer on the show many years ago IIRC.
Give me claws and a hunch, just away from this bunch.

Well the most obvious is Jesse L. Martin... =)
Wilson Jermaine Heredia, the original Angel in RENT was on an episode of SVU years back. I thought he was effective in it.
Different shows, but Megan Hilty was on Shark. Blake Bashoff of Spring Awakening and Tracie Thoms (after the movie but before her Broadway debut) were on Cold Case as well. I'm sure there have been more.

Two that stand out to me are Tony Roberts on Law & Order:CI as a shady boxing promoter, and the absolutely creepy performance of Martin Short on Law & Order:SVU as a psychic consulting on the case of a missing girl.

Tovah Feldshuh, who will be opening in IRENA'S VOW at the Walter Kerr next month in a transfer from Off-Broadway, frequntly plays a defense lawyer on LAW AND ORDER. She is a terrific actress and I am looking forward to seeing her on Broadway.
Michael Hayden, who scored as Billy Bigelow in the Lincoln Center CAROUSEL, has appeared in LAW AND ORDER. He had to play the part using a foreign accent in a strictly fair performance.

I beg to differ. I think the most obvious would be Jerry Orbach :)
Matt Morrison, Michael Berresse, Yuka Takamura. Bebe Neuwirth had her own short-lived Trial By Jury. Kathleen Chalfont, Michael Mulharen and Susan Blackwell all had recurring roles as judges. Charlotte D'amboise (suspect). Karen Ziemba (unwitting fiance of a multiple murderer). Marion Seldes (really off the charts mother of a murderer).
That's off the top of my head. There's many, many more. It had gotten to the point that if you didn't have L&O on your resume, casting agents wanted to know why not.

Christian Hoff did a fantastic job in a co-starring role as State Attorney Grady in the L & O episode "Players".
And Mark Lotito (Jersey Boys) can be seen every now in then in reruns as a policeman.

Rebecca Luker did nice work as a guest star on SVU.
How to properly use its/it's:
Its is the possessive. It's is the contraction for it is...

Celia Keenan-Bolger was in an episode of L&O. And I think Anthony Rapp and Jane Krakowski played brother and sister in an episode of SVU.

Likewise I don't really watch it, but I did once when Judy Kuhn was a battered wife (and you couldn't even tell it was her?); and Coleen Sexton I think was the girlfriend/baby momma of a drugdealer and her house got smoked or something..? I think that was on L&O??!

Tony Roberts has been on both Law and Order and Law and Order Criminal Intent. Mary Testa played a police officer in an episode of Law and Order.

Patti LuPone as a lawyer on the regular L&O. Also, Eden Espinosa was on SVU for all of three seconds.
Oh, and I almost forgot to mention...I'm the good cop, he's the bad cop.

Sara Ramirez played an awesome hooker in an episode of SVU. Too bad she was only in the first 10 minutes. And actually, she was in another episode before that as well. She played the mother of a 6 year old boy who killed another child with a gun. Besides those 2 episodes, I don't normally watch the show.
