I SING! was a small show that ran off-Broadway a few years ago. It slipped by under the radar while it was out, but the new cast album has top notch talent. Peter Filichia just put it on his list of the 50 best off-Broadway scores of all time. (www.isingthemusical.com)

The best/funniest show for kids is probably The Striking Viking Story Pirates at the Drama Book Shop (www.storypirates.com). New Victory Theater is usually good. Big Apple Circus is in town as well.
