INtroduction and Question re: out of print CDs

If you do check eBay, make sure you check the UK site too. Today I bought a CD from a store there that I could only find as an MP3 download at Amazon and iTunes.

I just thought of one other thing about the saving money aspect. If you go to http://www.borders.com/online/store/BRLandingView?sc_eid2=promorewards-52410 and register, they'll send you coupons via e-mail 2 or 3 times a week. They're only valid for a few days, but it's normally at least 25%. The highest I've seen is 40%. I think I only signed up online and don't have an actual card, but that's never caused any problems. If your order is under $25 and you don't' want to pay shipping, you can have them ship it to the store for free. I never shop Barnes & Noble because I never see any coupons.

I've only used the Dress Circle, and they were excellent. The other 2 are pretty well-known sources for foreign cast recordings, but I can't recommend them as I've never used them. The only other places I can think of are eBay and Amazon's sites in other countries. If you go to Amazon's homepage and scroll all the way down, you can change the country. Good luck. If you don't mind me asking, why do you want Sunset Boulevard only in the cardboard sleeve? Just a space issue?

Signed Playbill and pic from Mandy Gonzalez. It took about 8 days and I live in Arizona.

A few days ago I received stuff from Katie Rose Clarke and Alice Ripley. Katie sent her bubble pic from NOMTW. Alice sent a pic from I Am The One. Alice put the pic in a Playbill which was nice, because it protected it. Katie took about 5 weeks, Alice 1.5.

Moments You Love in Cast Recordings

In "Keiner weint um Hexen" from the German recording of Wicked:

Und Tugend weiß
Auch Böse sind verletzlich
Tugend weiß
Der Böse stirbt allein

I love the way Lucy says "allein".

From the original Vienna recording of Elisabeth:

Leben, frei wie ein Zigeuner

Pia just rocks.

I love the entire Fantine's Arrest part of the Les Mis TAC.

And when April says "On a Boeing" in the Company OBC

Yep, my first musical experience was Wicked. I discovered Rent because Idina was in both of them. I also got a little obsessed with the German language version of Wicked. Willemijn Verkaik is their Elphaba. She was also in Elisabeth, a very well known Austrian musical. Then I learned about Pia Douwes because she was the first Elisabeth. Pia was in Broadway's Chicago about 5 years. Ruthie Henshall was in London's original Chicago cast. Ruthie was also in the TAC of Les Mis. Rebecca Caine was in t
