I saw the show on 12/27, and I completely agree about Hilty. She added lots of deep feeling in "For Good," and hit the opening song beautifully, but it just felt like she wasn't inhabiting the character. Of course, who can blame her... without the daily repetition, an understudy is always at a disadvantage. But still, it felt like she was working hard to hit her marks perfectly, but not quite able to run with it. And there wasn't the same chemistry with Idina. Also, there was a guest conducto...
