Jeff Daniels -- TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD contract?

It's big shoes to follow, and I really didn't know much of Daniels other than dumb and dumber, but after Newsroom and Looming Tower, I feel fairly confident he'll do a great job with this.
Additionally as others have said, this will be a slightly different Finch in that he will start out very unlike the finch from the book and movies.
That in itself would make it easier too make the role his

You may be thinking of a right to remain silent to avoid incriminating yourself. Can anyone imagine criminal charges from what we've seen so far - I can;'t, but maybe I've missed something

Far from an expert in the theater world, but caught wind of the news when it first started getting traction and have been following it ever since, which led me to this board.
Just kind of surprised at the response to the article, since its the first one to mention "sources" that somewhat contradicts some (not all) of the accounts from Jeff's notes. The "other" side has been very quiet through all this, so
