I have no musical ear but it’s the only show in a long while that I enjoy listening to from beginning to end without wanting to skip tracks.  At least as presented on the OBCR, the show’s music captures the story’s emotional and plot arc completely. I listen to the music and I’m transported back to how it felt to see the show.   The score’s ability to do that has lasted longer than any show in recent memory for me.   I think that’s

Musicals
Loved:  Maybe Happy Ending followed by Kimberly Akimbo
Okay: Suffs, The Outsiders and then Teeth.
Disliked:  Swept Away, Hell's Kitchen and then Water for Elephants.
*Strange Loop would win if I could add 2019.

Plays
Primary Trust, Oh Mary, Fat Ham, Stereophonic, Kristina Wong-Sweatshop Overlord, POTUS and last ... but still great - Jaja's African Hair Braiding

I used this to refresh my memory if it helps:

I have a guess as to why a show that's won over theater aficionados and critics alike, can't seem to make it on Broadway.

Had they change the setting from Seoul/Jeju Island to Detroit/Ann Arbor and casted a non-Asian actor instead of Helen J. Shen, I think their chances of success would look very different.  There - I said it.

I saw MHE in previews (along with Yellow Face) and I will be forever grateful to the producers/creatives for bringing this to Broadway.

If you want to have that discussion, make a new thread or take your 19 post bingesto Reddit where we can hide your incessant trashing of this production. (Yes, I counted. And that’s just what BWW will allow me to see in your profile.)

But if you want to know what I think about how the cardbo

Thanks for the advice, VotePeron!

I read your reply with particular interest for Saturday, Sept 29th.    Tickets for both parts on Saturday seem to be in high demand on Ticketmaster with only Prime (@$199/part) and Premium (@$325/part) available.

Does your advice to wait apply to Saturday shows where more vacationing theater goers are likely to want to see both parts in one day?

I don't know if I should just bite the bullet or wait for
