Is this song from 'Sister Act' super problematic in a school setting? I have colleagues who think so. Personally, I think its over-the-top misogyny essentially neuters it. This is a cartoon character who doesn't get close to acting on the actions described (comically) in the song. Am I wrong about this? Is there a better way to express what I'm trying to say about it?

It's curious to me that this hasn't been announced yet. Obviously the show isn't a gigantic hit and is on shaky ground but to me recording this is a no-brainer. It's all new (and excellent) arrangements of some well known songs and despite the show's reception in NYC it's likely to have at least some life in regional theatre and, I would think, substantial life in high school theatre. And yet there is no mention anywhere of plans to record this.Am I missing something? Anybody have any inside ...
