Why Ilse wearing pants?

In Spring Awakening Mama who bore me(reprise), only Ilse wearing pants. Very curious that’s hide meaning. I think.. Ilse’s symbol is defiant, antisocial teenagers. So all girls wearing skirts except Ilse.
