Sorry to intercept this Broadway board with a bit of history, but Anne Boleyn was English, she came from a very prominent English family who were courtiers. Anne and her sister Mary went to live in the French court in their teenage years as their father believed it would make them stand out at Tudor court when they returned to English court. So she would’ve had a British accent.
