Sleep No More is AMAZING

I think Film Noir was the first to sell out.... Just bought two for the sexy red night on Sunday. This will be my third time seeing the show, and as much as I love it as it is, with the increased price I *am* hoping for something a little different!

Yeah I'm really hoping they have something special planned...you would think they would, seeing as how from what I can tell the "telegram" only went out to those who have already seen the show (ie: bought tickets) and you need to click through the telegram to be eligible to buy for those nights.

Was going to pick up the Thursday night ones since they were only $100 (instead of $125) but looks like they've sold out now...poop.

Apparently you need to "subscribe" to read the WSJ article...can you repost the basics here? Thanks!

That reminds me, I meant to ask this earlier... First time I saw it (March during previews) the pregnant Lady MacDuff was stabbed/bloodied during her death, and I'm pretty sure it was in MacBeth's bedroom (to answer that other question, she lay there dead for a bit then got up and scurried away...I followed her to a room where she replaced the bloody dress with a new one and then had her couch/bookcase dance scene with who I can only assume was her husband). But when I saw it again in June, I

Oh, I did follow him across the "forest" and up some stairs before he turned and latched on to my wrist, but I was following him to see where he was going, not because I thought he would touch me!! But I am 100% serious that it was within my first 15 minutes there, and the first actor I saw... ::swoon::

My second time at the show I would just walk right up to *everyone* during their scenes, trying to get more one-on-ones...a plan that totally works, btw. Profile for merideathx | BroadwayWorld Message Board?format=auto&width=600

OMG, Banquo was my first ever "one-on-one" and it was literally within the first 15 minutes of my arriving at the show...for the first time...during previews. So I seriously had NO IDEA what to expect from the show and didn't even know there *would* be one-on-ones! I was SO nervous!!!

The fact he looks like Justin Timberlake made it all the more heart pounding!

Was the boy witch the one who wore the goat head?

If so, I *did* manage to follow him out of the rave...and watched him shower nude for about 10 minutes or so. I was the only one in the bathroom with him aside from a black mask, and I felt like the biggest perv ever, but damn that's some fine theatre!

Oh and after I helped him get dressed I got bored and wandered elsewhere. Profile for merideathx | BroadwayWorld Message Board?format=auto&width=600

charlesjguiteau - pretty sure that was MacBeth and *Banquo* all acrobatic style in the closet/suitcase room.

I wore my glasses and had to keep adjusting things. If I had a choice of contacts versus glasses, I would say contacts. If the only choice was glasses versus squinting, stick with the glasses. You need to be able to see, IMO.

i *totally* had a SLM dream the other night as well! On our second visit (in the dream) we learned it was all actually a scavenger hunt as well, and you were supposed to collect items to bring to the "end" (it was setup more like rooms you could move forward into but you could not go back) and we totally had a leg up because we had gone once before so we kind of knew what to get from where... :)

I can't wait to go a second time! I was obsessed for the few weeks, telling anyone who wo

Looks like they very quietly extended the run a bit...the "Buy Tickets" calendar now lists two days in May...

$80 when you include the $5 processing fee...

But that's how you know it's a ridiculously good show/experience. When people are willing to drop yet another $80 to see it again!

Sleep No More Character I.D.'s?

Mar 21, 2011 — 8:56:28 PM

YES! Just looked up the Banquo actor, Gabriel Forestieri, and that was totally him. Still can't figure out what exactly the meaning of our one-on-one was, but it was still super cool!

Doesn't hurt that he's ridiculously attractive either...

Sleep No More Character I.D.'s?

**SPOILERS**

Anyone know which male character is beaten in the bar (the one with cedar floor beyond all the crates, not the fancy bar) with a brick?

I believe he is the same one who took me into a private room, anointed me with oil, handed me a sword, and read a passage from a book (the bible??)...

He kind of looked like a darker-haired Justin Timberlake...
