Regarding Me and My Baby. First when I saw the show pre-Broadway in Philadelphia, Gwen Verdon was out, Lenora Nemetz was in. The number was not the cakewalk. It was the six chorus guys backing Roxie in diapers as "Babies" dancing in the background and crying. I have an audio recording of this performance.
