Unless I'm missing it, there's no post yet about Katrina Lenk singing "Losing My Mind" AND "Could I Leave You" at the NYE Sondheim concert. I can't possibly be the only one (a) wondering whether I'll need CPR after hearing her sing those songs, and (b) with no idea how I'll make it through the next three weeks?

I still haven't quite recovered from her cover of "If I Were a Rich Man" at the MisCast Gala.

Far and away Hadestown. It's my fave musical in years, and I feel the album genuinely captures the feeling of seeing it live, including:

-The intros to All I've Ever Known, When the Chips are Down and Wait For Me, and the outro to Why Do We Build the Wall?

-The sublime transition from Epic II into Chant

-The escalation within Chant in general 

-The way the Fates and the 3x Epics weave in and out to create narrative threads beyond the standard use
