The Official Cast Recording

Oct 10, 2005 — 11:21:11 AM

Where will the Cast Recording be available? Will it be only at the theatre at first?

Great Show!

Oct 9, 2005 — 4:53:30 AM

The second time I saw Billy Elliot, Graham Norton was 3 rows in front of us with his male 'friend'. When everyone in the stalls was standing up at the end, he was practically the only one I could see not standing...

New Michael

Talking of changing the programme, they have now changed the introduction to billyelliotthemusical.com by removing james' picture and replacing it with one of Leon.

A New Michael...

Thats amazing to hear about Liam! What a professional! I supose he does know the script off by heart...but still he must have been concentrating hard not to get muddled, and he wouldn't have been able to do his electricity number or anything, he'd just have to stand by and watch someone else do it! I wonder whether he enjoyed it. The first time he wasn't the main part!

The Other Children

Sep 27, 2005 — 8:47:27 AM

I too hope that the show will be around for a very very long time, so lets just hope they keep managing to find suitable Billies and Michaels etc, in order to keep the show going, who have the talent required, and they will need many if they are going to continue being replaced every 6 months or so.

Sounds very fair of him...I wonder how much they will get...

the kids

Do you know how long they will available for? Or is it just one batch of posters which will be sold soon?

The 'little boy'

I agree that they should reprint the programmes but will they leave the other pages with all the photos of James? They could just add to the collage pages with extra photos of Leon?

James and ashleys last night

Sep 20, 2005 — 2:33:36 PM

Does Leon do more gymnastics than Liam then? Does he do the backflip that James and George did?
Glad he has been a success!

you freaks

I too don't believe LM is actually Liam Mower.

Tomorrow & December 3rd

Sep 16, 2005 — 2:32:10 PM

You are so lucky to be going tomorrow guys!
Have a brilliant time and make sure you give them a good send off!!

Leon Cooke

Sep 13, 2005 — 3:35:55 PM

I was just thinking, the fact he is 14 - doesn't that mean his voice is going to break very soon and won't there be problems with him growing up as their was with James? Surely they should have chosen someone who is 12/13 as they would have fewer problems with changing and growing up?

The singer

Sep 12, 2005 — 2:34:13 PM

I know I'm a bit late with my posting, but could the boy who is singing on the clip you are talking about, be the boy who was filmed singing in a recording studio and sang in the original billy elliot the musical trailer?

The Upcoming Week

Sep 10, 2005 — 4:42:02 PM

I will sign the petition Alan Roger!

Has anyone noticed that the majority of the pictures in the program are of Liam as aposed to George or James?

george and liam

Sep 8, 2005 — 2:56:28 PM

I would say Liam....cos he is younger and so there is less likely to be problems with him growing and his voice breaking etc. and he is more likely to be able to fit the 11 year old part for longer, particularly as he looks quite young for his age. I have heard there has been a few problems with George growing up, as well as with James. But I don't know...it could be George staying? Anyone else?

george and liam

Sep 8, 2005 — 2:45:00 PM

If they do both leave on the same day, one could do the matinee and one could do the evening (if there is a matinee on the day they finish)....But cor the theatre will be manic and popular that day!!

George and Liam

Sep 8, 2005 — 1:03:19 PM

I heard a while ago that their contracts were up for review on that date. Not that they were definitely leaving.
But things have probably changed. I do agree it is an odd time for them to leave.
