The performance was absolutely fantastic. I saw the OBC when this first opened, as well as the Deaf West production a couple times, and have such love and nostalgia for this show. The entire cast – but especially the women – sounded phenomenal, and I enjoyed how much Jonathan and Lea incorporated the original staging into songs like “The Word of Your Body” and “I Believe.” (They were basically off book the entire time.)
