We just saw it Wednesday night, three tickets, and were in the left orchestra, directly on the inner aisle. Great view, but sadly two leads were out (J. Harrison Ghee & Adrianna Hicks), not sure if Ghee is back yet from surgery though

I've done this with family many times over and never had an issue in those cases. They simply give my name at the box office.

That being said, I have a "white-sounding" name and my siblings are white as well. The one time I tried to do this with my AfroLatino partner, they ID'd him (it was the Schoenfeld Theatre).

Looking to buy a ticket to see this and hoping to see the original cast. Coincidentally this is a rare time a Wednesday matinee could work for my schedule (Jan 18th), but wondering if it is considerably more likely I'll end up with understudies if I do a 2pm matinee on a Wednesday... Any experiences or general consensus?
