I too was at the reading in August and this show at Carnegie Hall - it was terrific. This was a concert reading and still better than the vast majority of musicals on Broadway today. A poignant story of female empowerment and gender inequality cleverly executed and entertaining. Bravo. Great book and music in my and many others' opinion in attendance.
