I’m visiting from London and can honestly say this is the worst thing I’ve seen in a long time. The direction was abysmal, I’m sorry Schele Williams, but absolutely not. If you’re familiar with the UK pantomime scene at Christmas time, elements of The Wiz on Broadway resembled exactly that. (And you pay circa £20 to see a Pantomime) The set design was non-existent - visually it looked very cheap and lacklustre. I was at The Outsiders last night and a majority of the cast came out and signed/took photos. We really need to fix up on Stage Door Etiquette though I must say - there were people puffing on cigarettes and strong stench cigars and literally blowing smoke in the actors faces as they signed and posed for pictures. Sky Lakota-Lynch politely refused a photo with a guy who was puffing on a cuban cigar. Nasty!

I won the digital lottery last Friday for Saturday Matinee and scored 2 tickets in the Orchestra (E2, E4) which were full view and excellent seats.
