Saw Jamie on GMTV...didn't talk about Billy though. He was on The Frank Skinner Show last night (ITV) though, and they did talk a bit about it. It's so weird...he's got a mixed accent of Geordie and American!!! They mentioned BE The Musical also (...talked about Michael Jackson going to see it!!!)

Unfortunately Billy won't be on this year's show (which is fair enough considering it was on last year!) Although there is a really cool dance act opening the show called Urban Strides, and I know one of the dancers! (Incidentally, he also auditioned for Billy!)

How funny is that Royal Variety Performance! Haven't the Billys changed soooo much! Their singing and dancing has improved loads, and they look so young and nervous in that video! The song has changed a lot too hasnt it!

the whole 18 line is simple...either Liam forgot the "for" [making it SHE WROTE IT FOR US FOR WHEN I WAS 18.] or it's just inaudible on the recording.

I haven't got my OCR yet so I can't really comment... ...but we have to remember that the OCR isn't designed as an alternative to the show. The music is designed to be performed live, and therefore we can't expect the OCR to be like watching the show. However, the "digital" additions that were mentioned do sound slightly odd...I'm sure it will be fine though, and at least it gives us a memory of the show until we can see it again!

whilst in ordinary shows photos are not allowed, as you know Mad About Billy when there is a special show (such as the Les Mis anniversary) photos are permitted...depends whether the theatre regard it as a special show......?

Wow! that was so funny, anyone else just see James win his award? Wasn't he soppy!? I was well annoyed because when Mary Poppins one the Best Musical they did a scene from the show with the new cast, but all they did for BE was play a clip from the "Real Billy Elliot Diaries". Oh well...
