This!

I agree with everything expected Svetlana. I thought she was great.

Hi! I sat in P21. I can’t imagine that being two seats over and six rows back would make much of a difference. When I bought my ticket (on the day they went on sale), P21 was listed as unobstructed and it really was. The only thing I “missed” was Aaron and Lea’s first entrance, and even then, it was just a split-second delay compared to the other side of the theatre. On the bright side, from that seat I actually got the first view of Nicholas! There isn’t much ac

@scarletleigh I completely get where you’re coming from and agree with you. My perspective was that no one was ever going to be 100% happy at the end. I thought the ending was nice but also heartbreaking, which the best ones always are!

Hmm, good point. I think it was just implied that he knew about her father. I don’t recall a staged conversation, but it’s possible I missed it too.

@ericmontreal22 Well said! As you can probably tell by my name, Evita is my fav

I don’t think it has changed in terms of tantrums. I seem to be in the minority here, but I really think it all works. I would be wildly temperamental if I had been in their shoes. The Russian must decide between love and family, between freedom and safety. The American is deeply struggling with mental illness. Florence is caught between two men, carrying the weight of enormous decisions and a traumatic past. Svetlana is literally fighting for her life. The fate of the world is at stake

I sat ROW P Orch 21, off to the far side. Missed immediate entrances but otherwise perfect view of the stage.

Thank you so much!

my two cents:

The first preview of Chess was an absolute delight. I will never understand theatre people who claim to love the art form yet are so hard to please, because on this night, the audience was electric.

It was surreal to see Sir Tim Rice sitting just a few rows from the stage, but even that could not distract from how engaging the performance was. Bryce, serving as the narrator, was hilarious and b

I just saw the show tonight, and while it still needs work before Broadway, its heart is undeniable.

If audiences can embrace Evita for what it is, then Dolly is its opposite. Eva climbed through greed and manipulation, while Dolly built her story on kindness and good intentions, even if a few sodas went missing along the way.

The songs are strong, and the hits are essential. Katie Rose Clarke, who completely embodies Dolly, is seriously underutilized
