Planning Trip - Newsies Question
I have to say that I really enjoyed Newsies when I saw it last month. The Tony number didn't really do the show justice, but it seems as if that is usually the case. The whole cast was energetic and the dancing was tight.

Too bad! I had tickets for 5/22. Oh well. It's always sad when a show closes.
Things To Do In NYC.
I've always enjoyed the Lower East Side Tenement museum. It's been a couple years since I've been, but the tour was absolutely wonderful and informative. If history is your thing, I highly recommend it! http://www.tenement.org/
On-Stage Accidents?
When I saw Legally Blonde the first time on Broadway, Laura Bell Bundy's shoe came off during "So Much Better". The second time, her wig came off during "Positive". She ad-libbed through the scene, and the whole audience was in stitches. Fortunately, I haven't been witness to any incidents in which the actors were harmed!
