massofmen, people want to see Sondheim, not necessarily all of it but they do. What you said is inaccurate and uninformed.

My point was simply that the show has been revived already, I would just like to see something that hasn't been. I did however not realize that the production of Assassins was so recent. Somewhere in my brain it was earlier. It was just a thought.

Now, I am the first to bow down to the genius of Sondheim. That being said, I am pretty unexcited about the idea of Into the Woods back on Broadway. Now obviously nothing is confirmed but with the rumors flying around, I just wanted some other opinions It seems we just had a revival, let's not beat the show to death. Also, lets take a look at Sondheim's very long rep list...There are some shows that really need to be looked at again. I would love to see a Merrily back with the Encores edits. Als
