sorry, the above was to Fosse most musicals don't work on film because they're such an experience on stage and the amazment of seeing it all live (I.E Rent, Phantom, Wicked, etc.) if done into a movie soon, it should be done off the book. If made into a movie after the show closes or in years, maybe a musical then.
