I'm bouncing this thread to tell everyone to go see Ben in The Good Shepherd. He has a nice little featured role with the Bonesmen... and the film is done very well.

hey guys, ben's scheduled to perform as anthony the week of July 15th (i don't know exact dates) but I will certainly be there at some point. Yay Ben!

I know of Broadway actors who have degrees in the most random areas, who got those degrees to please their parents. After/during/before they were working towards said degrees they got their musical theatre training via sporadic classes.
I personally am going to school for musical theatre because i love the arts, but I need guidance perfecting my craft and bringing myself to the level of the professionals. I chose this degree instead of sporadic classes because I honestly didn't want to

He is learning how to play the cello. It's not exactly something you can pick up and learn over night... especially when it comes to memorizing Sondheim's music...
I absolutely cannot wait to see him perform as Tobias (That is, if Manoel ever calls out -- which will be never)
