Am wondering whether those of you who question Alfie Boe's acting abilities actually saw him on stage at the Queens Theatre, or whether you are simply basing your opinions on the 02 Anniversary Concert? The 02 concert was just that, a concert. Although it was costumed and semi-staged, all the singing was done standing in front of a microphone facing the audience.
