For anyone interested in the Janis show, there's a similar one playing Off-Broadway at 54th and 8th for two more nights. It's a one-woman show of a performer and pioneering theatre coach that was inspired by Janis Joplin and lives/teaches rock music. I'm working on it and I watch her every night, and she's got that same limitless raw energy that Janis has.
