I wouldn’t go quite this negative but yes there’s some problems with the production. When I read how funny it was in the London reviews but the laughs were not really coming on Saturday matinee. I think the cast is mostly excellent but would agree Alfee seems miscast. He even seems to know it in the look on his face at the end.
