I just read someone on Julie's Myspace wrote "so have you decided if you're staying or not?" which makes me think she hasn't yet...
Clare is def not going to be there in July. Sorry 
and anyway, had to go and see her tonight :P Couldn't help myself. I think it was the best Kate I've seen her do. She is so delightfully dorky and makes all these little faces, and I love the way she dances even when she doesn't mean to :P

Today Shona did her first two shows. I went to the evening, I was kind of bummed because I knew people who had been to the matinee and had disliked her strongly. I found she was ok actually, but I would've preferred Kerry or CJ, because they both blew me away on some level, and Shona tonight didn't blow me away on any particular level.
I wonder who do I have to bribe to finally see Kerry again??? grrrrrrrr

Presuming you're talking about Kerry here, she is not doing 8 shows a week because she is not fully recovered yet. She needs to take it easy a bit, that's all. I'm sure when she's back in top form she will totally be able to do all 8 shows a week.

Kerry's never been off for more than a couple of days, at the moment it seems CJ is doing most matinees but sometimes (like last Sat) she will be on for the evening, too... it's all very confusing. I'm going this Sat and I still haven't picked what show I'm going to see... I hope it's the same person doing both so I don't have to pick between Kerry and CJ as I love them both.

Thanks for the review! I don't see it like that, honestly - she's played the character many times before so she just needs to brush it up every once in a while. Though I'm curious now to go towards the end and see if I notice any difference, LOL! I just found out today that a friend is going on the 20th - Clare's "last night" as Kate for a while! I doubt I'll be able to go that night (also being only 2 days before the midnight matinee - I have to draw a line somewhere! :P) but I'm eagerly awaiti

Just got back from Clare's "first" (I know it was not, but in my head I call it that!). I know I'm repeating myself, but she is wonderfully dorky as Kate Monster and did this little dance at curtain call that just had us in stitches
I am this close from going again next week :P

I got my tickets for Clare's 'big first' today... I know it's not her first at all, but she needs our support :)
I also saw Luke perform once, about three months ago. I liked him, but Simon just has that 'something' more (and I'm not even straight!).
Speaking of understudies, I saw Matt as Gary on my first two times, and it took me a while to get used to Giles afterwards! I think Matt is really good, has anyone else seen him?
