A friend of mine and I went to opening night after our Bye Bye Birdie rehearsal, and were a bit disappointed at some of the actor's performances from the movie. But since I'm from San Diego (AMC 24 was the theatre) not alot of people knew about the history of this movie musical. Overall, many people liked it though. Not as much as LA or New York or other places though. =]

From what I've heard, Noah Galvin IS coming back as Billy. Michael Arden, unfortunately, will not. I know that they started the reading last week or something like that, and Betsy Woolfe is back! I am really looking forward to this show though.

Okay, so I'm one of the biggest fans of Michael Arden, and am I the only one who misses him on stage? He has a show coming up on March of 2008, but I think he should do theatre. What do you guys think? =]

Well she DOES carry the show, so it should be obvious why she can't hit the note. She goes flat every time, and I thought she would be better after the strike, but she didn't. But either way, I still love Laura Bell and she is an amazing performer. Good thing she extended her contract til August!!!
