Perfume: The Musical?

I just finished watching the movie Perfume and absolutely LOVED it, and the whole time I kept thinking: This would make one hell-of-a musical! Very Sweeney Todd for the 21st century. I say, if there are any producers out there, get Jason Robert Brown on the phone, e-mail Hal Prince and MAKE THIS A MUSICAL!

I hope this movie doesn't put a horrible reputation on movie musicals. Hopefully a more decent movie comes out soon, ie, Nine, which I'm so effin' stoked about.
