The Last Ship Previews
Saw the matinee Saturday (10/11). I agree the first act was thrilling - second act not so much, but could be fixed. In particular I would cut the graveyard scene - it really bogs everything down. I thought Rachel Tucker was terrific - beauty with a very hard edge, and a great voice. The veteran Applegate was excellent - he gets to sing the first iteration of the theme song and did it well (not as well as Sting at the Tonys, but what can you do?)
