Not an interview, but an item in a London newspaper. Not sure if it's fact, but it makes sense to me - see the link. Lee is now credited as "Gentleman With Hat" on Widipedia's page for the film. Sorry to be so ignorant, but do actors in a musical film just lip synch to the soundtrack during film production? It must be hard to match exactly when the soundtrack's made months prior.
