Saw the show three times in MN, once with the new Phantom (Cooper) and twice with Mark. Mark was FAR better than Cooper was...in voice and acting. The first time I saw it with Cooper I hated it but Mark's Phantom totally made the show work for me. Too bad he didn't work out...but the best thing about the show is the Carlotta.

They saw a LOT of people for Maureen. Shoshana was seen but wasn't ultimately available. They also had a certain one name Legally Blonde cast member come in too. It sounds like they are pulling out all the stops for this final cast. Now we'll just have to see who will play Mimi...

I can help out with one of these... Maureen : Eden Espinosa Not sure when she starts but Nicolette begins as Brooke in Legally Blonde early May so it could be soon. I had heard they were trying to get a 'name' from the R&B world for Mimi since Tamyra isn't extending...so we'll see if that pans out.
