If you are referring to the 2009 production presented by the incredible Lyric Stage, I couldn't agree with you more. The woman who played Fanny Brice is Kristin Dausch. Remember her name because she is a star in the making. I listened to everyone chatting during intermission and it was obvious that I was not the only one mesmerized by her.
