I believe it's ok if the other person wants to leave to get food or go to the hotel, as long as one person is always there in line. Luigiamarco – overnight we did take turns sleeping on the street and in the hotel room, but we were with a nice group that didn't seem to mind! Hopefully others will be understanding!
