Hard Rock Audition Songs Male

Hey Guys! I have an audition coming up in which we need to prepare a "hard rock" song from a show... I know only a few rock musicals (rent, spring awakening, hair, ect.) but I don't know any HARD rock musical songs. Any redomendations would be greatly appreciated. They can be a ballad or uptempo. Hey guys! I'm going to NYC this August and I would love to see the color purple... specifically because Cynthia Erivo is in it. Does anyone have any information on what dates she will NOT perform in August? Also, is the show worth seeing without her and how are the understudies? Thank you!
