Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Seating/Pricing Thread
 Mar 23 2018, 03:26:01 PM

I have 2 tickets to BOTH parts for tomorrow, Saturday March 24th that I can't use anymore (2 PM, 8 PM).   My cost was $660 total.

Balcony Left, Row B.  They can be transferred to your ticketmaster account.  Please let me know if you're interested, willing to let them go below face value at this late time.  Make an offer!

Nobody knows.  Some days there are 5 tickets given out, some days 28.   Number of people in line will depend on day of the week and the weather.  Saturday?  Who knows.

There is a cancellation line for Chicago but it's been my experience that there are always "premium" tickets available for nearly all shows.  Watch them and usually a few days before the show they go down to the next level in price.  We recently got first row balcony seats ($599 seats the day before) for $179.    The theater in Chicago is 4 times bigger than the theater in NYC so the demand isn't as strong and you can usually get tickets below $200 anyway

Does anybody know how the Chicago cancellation line works?  Same type of thing?   I read that their unpurchased lottery tickets also go to the cancellation line, but I'm wondering if there are more tickets available for things like standing room only or unused VIP.

And anyone done it?

Subbing is ok, but both people have to be there to actually purchase the tickets.  So if you get called 90 minutes before showtime and only one of you is there you might be screwed.....

Quick report from my trip.   My wife and I flew up to NYC just to see Hamilton.   Took a taxi directly to the cancellation line from the airport on Tuesday and we were the 9th and 10th people in line at 1:00 PM.   We got tickets at about 6:15.   There were a LOT of tickets that day, probably 25 or so, sold to the cancellation line.  People who got in line at 5:45 for the 7:00 show ended up getting in.

Saw Javier as Hamilton.

So the next day we happened t

Your rampant speculation is welcome. Thanks!

I'd go see.  If there are more than 10-12 people in line by 9:30 I wouldn't bother as that's likely the max number of availables.  But you never know.

I've seen a lot of recent posts on Fri-Sun, but nothing recent for mid-week.   I'll be there next week and wondering how early I have to be there to be first in line. =)

Looking forward to the experience!   Rise Up!
