I saw it on 11/13 and was disappointed. Unremarkable score, monotonous sound, way too much beatboxing. And the book is just so...not smart. The gay storyline is a convoluted mess, although my favorite dumb moment goes to the straight romance, when the struggling actress (Margo Seibert) says to the fired businessman (James Snyder), "Have you ever heard the expression 'Do what you love and the money will follow'?"
