Order of the Phoenix
Spiderman 3
And I'm guessing it's actually this fall/winter, but I'm really anticipating His Dark Materials: The Golden Compass.

THE SIMPSONS is the only one that I'm really looking forward to with more excitement than dread.
I'll probably see PIRATES 3, just to see the incomparable Johnny Depp, but I just couldn't care less about SPIDERMAN 3, and there's no way in hell I'm going to sit through another damned SHREK flick.

Hairspray, of course.
The first 2 Shrek films were cute--I'd love to see the 3rd one.
The Simpsons movie, definitely.
Spiderman 3 (although I still need to see Spiderman 2).
aaand...I don't know of any others.

Order of the Phoenix (I am SO psyched after seeing the trailers!!)
POTC 3
Knocked Up
I think Shrek the 3rd looks promising. It looks better than the last one, at any rate. Plus, It's got Amy Sedaris.

1) PAPRIKA - One of the most beautiful trailers I've seen in quite a while. This should be a pretty kickass animated flick. After all, the director, Satoshi Kon, was behind a pretty excellent film called PERFECT BLUE. Wherever this ends up coming out, I shall be there.
2) SUPERBAD - May, in fact, be the comedy of the year.
3) KNOCKED UP - THE 40 YEAR OLD VIRGIN was one of the funniest movies of 2005. Now, I'm excited to see Judd Apatow try his hand at a straight drama.
4) DEATH AT A FUNERAL - The triumphant return of Frank Oz to the realm of comedy! Plus, Peter Dinklage is in it!
5) RED DAWN - Because it's WERNER FERKING HERZOG!
6) THE SIMPSONS MOVIE - Everything has been looking extremely good. Let's hope it can all come together. 2007 has been a good year henceforth with movies based off of TV shows (Both RENO 911 and AQUA TEEN were both quite good) so let's hope the trend shall continue.
7) SPIDERMAN 3 - It's a sign of my musical theatre snobbery that I'm more excited to see this to hear Kirsten Dunst sing with Jason Schwartzman in a Broadway musical than because of the action.
RATATOUILLE - Brad Bird's follow-up to hands-down the best Pixar film ever made.
9) HALLOWEEN - I'm kind of interested to see what Rob Zombie will do with this. He certainly knows his horror films. He definitely isn't doing this for a paycheck.

Now that the summer movie season has unofficially ended (Rush Hour 3 being the last big movie) I thought I would revive this thread and see how it all stacked up.
The only movie I was looking forward to (Black Sheep) was a lot of fun. The rest I'll catch on dvd.
So, how were your summer movie going experiences?

5) RED DAWN - Excellent
6) THE SIMPSONS MOVIE - Decent.

I saw Black Sheep and was dissapointed. I hoped it would be hilarious, but I found it rather dull, especially considering how hysterical it could've been.
Hairspray exceeded expectations, Evening met them.
La Vie En Rose was my favourite movie of the summer.
