Just got back from NYC - to see The Color Purple

So Have they made the announcement yet? I swinged by Walter Kerr- there is no sign that the show is closing.. the sign is about 7/29- last performance to see Ebersole & Wilson ( I will post pics later)

But I spoke to the House Manager- It is true- they might make the OFFICIAL
announcement tommorow MONDAY

She told me theyve been doing it for a long time . Also there MIGHT not a be tixs discount from 7/2
to 7/29..Unfortunately...

Yup.. here's the sign...per HM- that's probbably how the rumors got started ..but its
TRUE ! though has nothing to do with this sign (it only says this ...)

Actually Jimny, under your expectations, I hear they are replacing the role of Celie with a robot to prevent any human failings such as health, illness, and being human. Problem fixed, the replacement robot was installed this afternoon.
