LIMELIGHT: A Novel by Andrew Keenan Bolger Mar 7 2026, 06:43:37 PM
Very enjoyable books.
I guess I misunderstood your post. It read, to me, as if you thought "Limelight" was the first book to merge YA with Broadway.

I am just assuming then that you haven't read Tim Federle's "Nate" Trilogy. I really enjoyed those.

Solo theatergoers are on the rise — and theaters want more of them : NPR Mar 4 2026, 09:24:02 PM
Phantom4ever said: "Prior to about 2011, I would always have to go with someone to a Broadway show. I would ask current friends, former friends, exes; I would look up people I haven’t spoken to you in years. Then, I finally just ran out of people willing to keep seeing shows with me. Too many people I knew saw theater as a once-a-year thing, not a constant thing like me. So, I finally went by myself. I felt like everyone was staring at me and feeling sorry for the friendless lo

Solo theatergoers are on the rise — and theaters want more of them : NPR Mar 5 2026, 12:45:15 AM
I prefer going solo and have never had a problem getting a single seat.
There are times I do like going with one or a few other people, depending on the show.

Opening Night - What is it like? Mar 4 2026, 11:46:05 PM
If you want to star gaze a bit, get there early and maybe stand across the street and watch the red carpet arrivals if it is visible. Definitely walk through the lobby at intermission. You most likely bump into celebrity attendees. I have had quick chats on opening nights with some great celebs both Broadway performers and film and TV.
It's a fun night. Lots of energy and it probably won't start on time. I have never attended one either that has started on time. It takes

The Rocky Horror Show Playbill Design Mar 3 2026, 10:29:46 PM

Maybe they were going for a "Time Warp"?
It just kept rolling through my mind after reading your comment!

I didn't realize until this morning that his sitcom, "The Neighborhood" is in it's 8th season. I have seen a few episodes.

MOULIN ROUGE! Broadway Casting Thread Feb 26 2026, 06:28:38 PM
They actually just did a discussion on the announcement on our local Denver NBC afternoon News "Kitchen Table Talk" about half an hour ago.
One of the anchors is a huge Broadway fan. The two anchors pretty much had some of the same thoughts that are being shared here. On both sides.
Just read that there will be "nods" to her music added to the show.

Just in Time - Matt Morrison? Feb 25 2026, 05:37:37 PM
He says in two interviews I watched that he has been offered shows but decided to step away to be with his kids, and is glad he did it. He didn't want to enter into a year long show contract.
He also explains why he decided to use Cameo to raise money for his project.

BC/EFA Purchases You Wish You Made Feb 21 2026, 07:19:36 PM
I could kind of kick myself for not buying a snow globe. They had one for sale at the flea market table years ago at the end of the day and for some reason I didn't buy it.
I did get a few cool show logos items at the flea market table at end of day a couple of years. I got a nice glass candle, an eyeglass case and a serving tray. A friend surprised me with the cookie jar.
I always put money in the bucket. I put enough in at "Hello Dolly" to

I saw her in the pre-Broadway tour of Jekyl & Hyde here in Denver and she was fine. She has said that her priority was raising her child and prefers concert appearances over a long term show

Feb 15th ... MHE @6p and Jane Eyre @ 8p? Feb 16 2026, 12:58:34 PM
A good friend saw it and called me after, raving about it. He said the same thing, that it didn't seem like a concert at all. He was impressed with what sounded like a choir behind the orchestra. He is close with someone who was close with the Broadway production and asked if this may show up back on Broadway and was told that there are no plans. This was a one off. He loved Ramin.

If not, ATG will have three big theaters to fill this fall, St James, Hirschfeld, and August Wilson<
