'Glory, tell your brother that he CAN'T do that to you. Did you try to tell him that they might throw you out or shun you? '
Haven't talked to him since in fear of provoking him further or somehow making things worse. Was thinking about somehow reaching rob and seeing if he will try to talk some sense into him. Too bad I only know my brothers cell phone number.
The sad part is that I'm pretty sure he already knows how my parents will react. Except I'm sort of getting the idea that somehow in his twisted train of thought that he thinks because my parents tended to like me better for the most part after he came out, that they won't be as bothered if I say I'm bi, because they like me, and theres still a chance I could end up with a girl. That most likely won't be the case, but thats the only semi-reasonable explanation I can come up with.
Still. Whether he has good intentions or not, I'll tell them when I feel like it, and preferably without his help.
Now, how to keep him quiet.....

Posted: 1/11/05 at 9:46pmGlory, the way things stand right now makes it look like he is going to tell them no matter what so I don't think talking to him can do anything but make it better (best case scenario). Beg. Tear up. Tell him you're scared. Say you can't deal with that for a year.

I hope he's not as malicious as all that.. for your sake hun..
I know you are afraid of provoking him, but I think you should talk to him again.. see if you can work this little threat out.

Posted: 1/11/05 at 9:52pmHe probably doesn't REALIZE he's hurting you- or else he thinks you can take the things they'll throw. You have to get it across to him that you are not ready. Hm... how to do that- ideas? Anyone? All I can say is don't be timid about this, MAKE HIM HEAR YOU. Try your hardest.

I'm sure if he sees how scared and worried you are, he'll change his attitude. Perhaps he thinks that after what he went through, you're taking it too lightly, or that you're stealing his thunder...is that mean? And are you sure you can't keep it to yourself for a little while longer, if he doesn't tell? Without meaning to sound condescending, or knowitally, but maybe these feelings will pass...or else you'll meet a girl to take away these troubles...y'never know.

She is right about one thing- make sure you get across to him how you feel. Would it help if someone went with you to talk to him? Kristin?

'And are you sure you can't keep it to yourself for a little while longer, if he doesn't tell?'
Oh I *know* I can keep this to myself for a lot longer... was planning not to say anything until I graduate highschool (I'm a junior at the moment). That is if it doesn't get screwed up in 6 days ::panics::
And stealing his thunder? I guess its possible... but he had quite a lot of his own-- hes been out for like 7 or 8 years.
Whatever. I'll call him later once I figure out exactly what I plan on saying to him...
