Hello all,
I am travelling with two friends to London over June Half Term (by pure coincidence the only week we are all available is when those sniffly kids are off school) and we are trying to squeeze as much in as possible.
We are planning on day seating Singing in the Rain, Sweeney Todd and Matilda (£5 16-25 tickets)
We know where the seats are within the theatre for all of these, but has anyone experience on these shows and recommend a time to arrive for any, especially as it is half term week, over the jubilee, and there are 3 of us!
Thanks
I day seated Sweeney during the Easter break on a Thursday. Turned up at 9.30am and was 4th in line. By 10am there were 10.
Oh fantastic, We're going to see it on a Friday, but thought that would be quieter that early in the week when its the jubilee! Thanks for the advice!
Anyone else for the other two?? :)
Your a brave person doing London that week!
Did u know that Singing In The Rain has an extra matinee on Friday June 8 at 3 pm?
And, btw, I got a £25 day seat for the matinee of SITR on Saturday April 21, turning up at the Box Office at 2.15.!
I did Sweeney at the weekend, got there too early really, a buch of people arrive 8-8.15 and then most others by 9.30. All would have got seats, as 2 show day. Depends if you want choice of seats.
Singing in the rain I did the other weekend and 9.30 would have been fine.
If the weather stays this way doubt you'll have a problem.
Cheers everyone! has been much help!! And to your question Mama, we are all Uni students, so the half term doesnt affect us, but while I am on an acting course where I am in 4 shows in the next 2 months, my two mates are techies and are working on a show every week for the next 3 months excluding that week, so that's when it has to be!
