Is there any discount code for Waitress? I'm thinking of seeing it when I'm in town June 21-25 but the site shows that even side orchestra is $149, same with front mezz and the rear is $99 with the last few $69. How is the rear mezz at the Brooks?
There's a discount out there (BWW1 for anyone interested) but unfortunately it expires on 6/12. I'm sure another will come about hopefully in time for your trip!
I've never sat rear mezz at the Brooks Atkinson, so I can't offer any thoughts on that. Sorry this wasn't much help but figured I could at least clear up the discount question.

Hi,
We sat in rear mezz last sunday evening and it wasn't bad at all. I thought we wouldn't be able to see anything but that was not the case. If you can get rear mezz row e center those are the best. We were in row J and I really had no complaints. Good luck! The show is great btw.

It's a smaller theatre so rear mezzanine is fine. I sat there for Spring Awakening plus first preview of Waitress. Saw more up there then I did over to the side in the orchestra.
Rear mezz seats are pretty good. You can see and hear everything perfectly clear. Enjoy!

Does anyone have a sense of when discount codes would become available for mid-June, or does the fact that the discount codes for this show expire at the end of May suggest there won't be discount codes for June? A friend is coming into town in mid-June and really wants to see the show, but since I've already seen it, I'd prefer to buy our tickets at discount. With that said, I don't want to wait too long for a discount that never comes and be stuck with poor seats.
This doesn't strike me as the type of question to bother the box office with, so I just wondered if there is a general timeline to discounts. I would've thought it all depends on the specific show and how it's selling?
After it gets national exposure on the Tony's, tickets will be harder to get. Do not see any new discount codes on the horizon anytime soon
I just got an email from Broadway Direct with a new discount code that is valid for performances 5/10 to 10/6 (pending black out dates) but you must book the tickets by 6/12. The code is TELE4.
I used a similar code and got rear mezz for the performance on Tuesday following the Tony nominations and I was row M, seat 2 and I had a great view.
Does anyone know if they going to offer a lotto anytime soon?
When I was there on Tuesday, the box office lady told someone else they didn't have lotto or rush and didn't seem to be planning to have anything beyond standing room. Also, they will not sell standing room unless the show is one hundred percent sold out, that is per the producers order the box office lady told me.

Thanks for the code, ClumsyDude!
For what it's worth, someone asked just the official Waitress Twitter a couple days ago about plans for rush/lotto, and the response was, "Stay tuned. We're working on it." https://twitter.com/WaitressMusical/status/729152163486765056 This, of course, seems to conflict with what the box office is saying, but there might be some hope yet...
You're so welcome! Enjoy the show, it's wonderful.
I mean, the box office lady was just telling the person what she knew, but if the producers were to change things, that would change as well. I just feel like they've been saying that stay tuned thing for awhile. With Tony season kicking into high gear, I'm sure they'll be selling out and selling standing room if nothing else.
The show has also been showing up on TodayTix occasionally.

I can recommend the box seats for $79. They have a really good view for this show because almost all the action happens center stage, not on the far sides. They are sold at the box office only though, so that might not be very useful for out-of-towners (I'm not sure how long in advance the boxes sell out, I bought mine 2 days in advance, but that was in late previews), but it's definitely a good option if you're in the city or visiting for more than a few days.

I sat last row center orchestra which was $79, next to soundboard and considered partial view. Honestly, I saw, everything and was smack dab in the center. Best "partial view" seat I ever had!
I believe these seats may only be sold at the box office....
Ugh, I really want to see Waitress also during my trip, but out of all the Broadway theatres I've been in so far, the Brooks Atkinson has the tightest seats in the mezzanine when I saw After Midnight there. I'm a big guy with knee issues, and I barely wedged into my seat. And there was another larger guy seated to my left that was really wedged in there too and we were sure uncomfortable being that close. Fortunately we were in the front row with the break in the aisle in front of us, so I was able to stick my leg out for my knee. Even my sister who is 5'2" thought it was tight.
So thanks for the discount code for late June. I hope it's good for the orchestra section.
StephieElise - You're so welcome!! Enjoy!!
Choitoy - The discount code does work on the orchestra section. I'm also a chubby guy, and I sat in M2 in the rear mezz and it wasn't that bad, but I'm sure it depends on your comfort level. I hope you get to see it soon!

Is anyone else frustrated by the lack of a will call option on Ticketmaster? Just me?
^I haven't ordered from Ticketmaster in awhile, but that would totally annoy me.

For some reason now Will Call is only available if it's less then a week from your show date. Annoys me too as I don't have a working printer.
Isn't it free to have them mailed to you though? That was a plus for me versus Telecharge, which charges a $4.25 fee.

I was able to do will call, although that may be because I'm an international customer so didn't have post as an option.
clumsydude, do you need to use Broadway direct to use he discount?
