OPERATION MINCEMEAT Reviews
 Feb 23 2026, 06:09:50 PM

I originally had a ticket to the Friday evening performance before I found out that Jak was going to be out that night. This all happened around the same time a friend was selling a ticket for the Sunday evening show. I sold my original ticket on Theatr and bought the ticket for Sunday evening and changed my plans around to make Sunday work.

I woke up on Sunday too late to make the matinee and found out about the evening being cancelled. I fully understand why they cance

Disney Broadway Concerts at Epcot - Anyone Gone?
 Nov 12 2025, 04:44:26 PM

I will add to the chorus of folks who say it's worth it if you happen to be there, but don't go out of your way.

My trip two years ago happened to fall right at the last day of FArts and the last of the Disney Broadway concerts so I went to their grand finale show. It was Ashley Brown, Josh Strickland, Kissy Simmons, and Michael James Scott.

I had previously seen the same line up when they did the Disney on Broadway reopening concert at the New Amsterdam. It

Bway Flea 2025 Tips
 Sep 16 2025, 05:35:57 PM

I've been going to Flea Market pretty much annually for a long time and these are my biggest tips:

* Get there earlier than the 10am start time. By 10am it will likely be super crowded [although with them finally going back to closing all of 44th Street hopefully it will be much more bearable]. I usually get there around 9:30am and just walk around kind of getting the lay of the land. Some times tables will sell things prior to the 10am start, so you can definitely keep

Your first Broadway show?
 Aug 26 2025, 12:42:38 PM

My first show on Broadway was Beauty and the Beast. Andrea McArdle was Belle and Stephen Blanchard was the Beast.

Beauty and The Beast was also my first movie, so it was magical to have that be my first Broadway experience as well.

What would you love to see adapted as a musical?

I’ve always wanted a musical version of The Princess Diaries.

I didn't see it mentioned here, but Cody announced he's leaving on October 26th.

I have seen Kevin and Cody several times and they are great, but I haven't been back since reopening simply because I've been waiting for some new blood.

Mean Girls Regional Theater
 Apr 18 2025, 05:50:09 PM

I love the show and was lucky enough to see it in DC Pre-Broadway as well as several times on Broadway and on tour. It's not a perfect show by any means but it's a good time and the score is really catchy in my opinion. If you're a fan of the original film, you'll have a good time with the moments from the film that they've brought into the musical. Another reason I'd say go is supporting your regional theaters as they are definitely at a time when they could use the s

What Inspired Your Love for Theatre?
 Mar 27 2025, 02:10:08 PM

I grew up during the Disney Renaissance and their animated films and scores were everything to me. I would sing them at the top of my lungs and play pretend to be many a character from them.

Because of my love of Disney, my aunt took me to my first show on Broadway - Beauty and the Beast. I'll never forget it. Andrea McCardle [of Annie fame] was Belle and Stephen Blanchard was the Beast and the whole production just had me captivated. My aunt said I was like transfixed a

Trump Wants to Host Awards, include businessmen and politicians as winners
 Mar 27 2025, 01:56:25 PM

After yesterday's announcement about Legally Blonde, I emailed to request a refund of my remaining tickets in my subscription [Legally Blonde and Parade], but per the email response I received I'll only be getting the refund for Legally Blonde. The email stated that since Parade is still scheduled to go on as planned, they will not be issuing any refunds if you request them given the state of things.

I fully understand why they're doing it this way and while I'

BACK TO THE FUTURE will close January 5, 2025

BoringBoredBoard40 said: "Roger Bart not signing the last day, what a bummer"

I was definitely surprised he didn't since it was closing, but it was really cold last night so I can't blame him. He did make a rare appearance at stage door back in November when I went shortly before closing. There was a crowd of kids chanting Doc! Doc! Doc and I guess he got word of this and came out to sign. He was lovely and signed and took photos with everyone there.

BACK TO THE FUTURE will close January 5, 2025
 Jan 6 2025, 01:35:56 AM

I was there for closing today and it was a very lively and excited audience who gave the show a really well loved send off. Just before the show started, one of the ushers came up to the front of the orchestra and had us chant “Happy Trails; Back to the Future” which was super sweet. It’s clear the front of house was incredibly fond of the cast and the show as they were chatting with patrons about how sad they were. Huge applause for Casey, Roger, and the Deloreon’s en

The Outsiders - Lottery/SRO/Rush
 Oct 22 2024, 01:09:17 PM

Standing room and the non 30 under 30 rush are the same price - $45.00

I've done standing room twice and the view is pretty good and the only thing you miss is Ponyboy and Johnny up on the top of the church at the beginning of Act Two.

I've also been able to get standing room just before curtain twice, so I'm not sure how that plays into rush. I've heard rush is still pretty chaotic with people showing up between 2am and 6am.
