I don't get why you're surprised that people would question the credentials of your cast. That's what we do here....this is a message board. We dissect and discuss all things theater.
I'm sure doodle decided to look into the cast out of interest and only then discovered that your press release contained some falsehoods.
Good luck with your show, but really, you need a better fact checker and/or proofreader.

I wasn't aware the Negro Ensemble Company still existed. The last time they did anything of note was A SOLDIER'S PLAY, 30 years ago.

Thanks for the advice. You're absolutely correct.
I've been in the business a long time and trust me the talent in the cast is top notch.
And as far as dissecting. This is a play worth just that. There's a reason it won an Obie Award and a reason it hasn't been remounted in 35 years. It's the ultimate musical allegory.
And the mistakes/lies in your press release remain.
Your integrity is suffering here, Daddy Mac.

Tell that to everyone voting for Romney!
I'm sorry, are you saying that the reason the play hasn't been mounted in 35 years is because it's too good? I do plan on seeing the show though....
